Alzheimer's sketch ideas

This is a few of the ideas I came up with for the Alzheimer's sketch contest. I like the sketch of the brain as a puzzle more than the one with the man though I'm still working on more I could add to both of them 

Action Bronson portrait

This piece is my attempt at a portrait of a rapper I like named Action Bronson. I believe it is partially successful as I think some parts of it, like the background and beard, came out cool but overall it doesn't quite look completely like him. If I were to redo this piece I would probably try to make his lips and nose smaller 

Lotus

This piece is a watercolor and ink, to achieve the text in the background I used a technique of printing out the text then placing it on my piece and by using a lacquer thinner wash I was able to transfer the text, though it is reversed. I beeline this piece to be successful as, to me, it looks interesting and I'm also very happy with the outcome of the expire mental background. If I were to redo this piece I would like to correct some of the angles in the green parts of the background 

New piece- Vibe

This piece is a watercolor and ink, I believe it to be successful as it is astecically appealing to me and was enjoyable to make. If I were to redo this piece I would probably attempt to get some deeper values in the tree and the water.
